About Encore Cases

Encore cases claims 20 years of experience and success in building custom made cases delivering high everlasting quality and unique case designs to their clients. Gary Peterson founded Encore Cases in 1988. While touring the country with his theatrical magic show he quickly realized the need for reliable cases in order to protect his precious equipment. Trying to find a manufacturer that could design, build and quickly deliver custom cases for his own use the idea for Encore Cases began to take shape and a business was born.

Soon, Encore Cases’ positive reputation began to spread and the company flourished…with an even larger facility, newer equipment and additionally skilled designers and technicians. In 1993, Encore Cases acquired Davis Cases, a 100-year-old company, specializing in the manufacturing of steamer trunks and sample cases. More growth followed in 2001, when Peterson acquired Roadrunner Cases, which was established in 1970.

Encore Cases is proud to count many of the most prestigious names in the entertainment, manufacturing, equipment-rental, military and aerospace industries among its clientele. Some of Encore’s clients have included ABC, A&M Records, Marc Anthony, Apple Computer, Pat Benatar, Boeing, David Copperfield, Def Leppard, Disney, Earth, Wind & Fire, ESPN, Alanis Morissette, REO Speedwagon, Lady Gaga, Joss Stone, Toshiba, Vivendi Universal Games and Warner Bros., to name just a few.

Encore's goal is to design and build a case that protects your valuable equipment making the packing and transportation easier, while offering the greatest possible security that your item will reach its destination in perfect condition. Quality is key. Regardless of how well a case's exterior is designed and constructed, the first line of defense for your valuable investment is the internal cushioning. Encore’s in-house production department stocks a large variety of foam densities and properties, such as anti-static and neoprene to cushion and custom fit the contents of each case.

In order to meet all of our clients' needs our production and delivery time is incredibly fast. We are also known for our unrivaled 24-hour emergency turnaround service. Even if your case is not an Encore Case, it’s not a problem…we can and will repair any case.
